    Job Overview

Baylor Trucking offers COMPANY DRIVERS consistent drop and hook freight with great miles and dependable runs.

Baylor has been awarded and recognized by some of the nation’s most prominent shippers because our drivers deliver safely and on time. In return, Baylor drivers get the financial reward of long miles and dispatches that are driver friendly and predictable. We have a mix of industrial and retail freight that keeps Baylor busy all year long.

At Baylor, you’ll have the advantages of:

    • Superb Equipment

Baylor uses late model Freightliner, International and Kenworth trucks. All tractors are Qualcomm Satellite equipped featuring Maptuit navigation at no charge to the drivers. Some units feature Climacab APUs and many tractors are fit with super single tires.

    • Pay

Our drivers and teams enjoy excellent earning power. Baylor drivers are paid weekly based on all miles calculated by PC MILER PRACTICAL MILES. Accessorials are paid for stop off charges, layover, detention and local work.

    • Home Time

Home time varies depending on the area of the country in which you reside and the type of run you’re on. Typically, Baylor Trucking drivers can expect the following:

    1. Regional runs: 6 day dispatch = 24-36 hours home time
    2. OTR runs: 6-14 day dispatch = 24-72 hours home time
    • Fleet Managers

Our dispatch team is hands on and knowledgeable about trucking. They are not only required to take trucking classes but many are current and active CDL holders. As a general rule, the truck-to-dispatcher ratio is 30:1.

    • Paperwork

Drivers are required to turn in their paperwork via terminal and truck stop scanning. Drivers can be paid the same week as the week they submit their trips. There is no cost to the drivers for the scanning services.
