Barr Nunn Transportation is proud to announce their new 44/88 and 88/187 Pay Packages.

Granger, IA – January 26, 2006—Barr-Nunn Transportation is a widely acclaimed provider of highest quality transportation and logistics services. Since our inception in 1982, we have been the industry leader in pay packages, have grown to a fleet of nearly 650 tractors, 1,650 trailers and over 500 customers nationwide. Our large, ever-expanding customer base and ability to meet the needs of shippers across the country have made us not just a stable operation, but one that is here for the long run.

At Barr-Nunn, we want our Company Drivers and Owner Operators to have peace mind about financial issues, so we are constantly upgrading our pay packages. Today Barr- Nunn Transportation announced that we are once again raising the “Barr” with the introduction of two new pay packages, 44/88 for Company Drivers and 88/187 for Owner Operators.

“To be competitive in the marketplace, we are constantly evaluating the best pay packages for our Company Drivers and Owner Operators,” said Doug Albrecht, Recruiting Director at Barr-Nunn Transportation. “And 44/88 and 88/187 are not just raising the bar for pay packages, they’re raising the bar of opportunity for every Company Driver and Owner Operator out there who wants financial stability with a company that cares for its Drivers and future Drivers.”

“We believe if our Drivers and Owner Operators are happy, said Doug Albrecht, our customers will be happy.” He added, “Our people don’t just work for us, they work with us. That’s important for every driver to know. Their happiness is our highest priority.”

The unprecedented new packages that includes their new practical mile pay have not only set a new standard in the trucking industry, but also are a continuation of Barr Nunn’s long-term strategy of listening to its Drivers’ ideas and recommendations in order to make them a reality. We’re very excited to tell you about this new change. That’s why at Barr-Nunn the difference is real…not just words.
